Our Friday:
- Gerra sends us two pounds of New Harvest's Northeast Competition Blend (which they'll use in Ithaca at next week's NERBC). This is the latest incarnation of the blend used in the Sprodown in Easton (won by you-know-who). Rich, red, loaded with crema... and tasty! Thanks Gerra!
- James comes in with a pound of CoE El Salvador La MontaƱa for us to try. Thanks James!
- Chris gives us a pocket digital camera his dog chewed on (but still works) so we can take decent blog photos again. Thanks Chris!
- We get our first taste of Intelligentsia's apple/pear-ish El Salvador Finca Matalapa and the deep-bodied Uganda Bugisu AA that we roasted in-store. Two very different examples of what coffee can be.
- An evening of music for a cause, in this case Students4Students. And a lot of high schoolers having fun - and even enjoying espresso and Ugandan Bugisu (and smoothies, of course).
A great coffee day by any definition. We hope your Friday was as full of riches as ours.
You can try any of these coffees by press pot this weekend, or ask for the New Harvest espresso (it's in the bronze grinder).
Wow. Thanks, all.
Which dog chewed on the camera?

Ginger chewed on it. Fred's long past that stage although he did destroy my father in law's garden over the weekend.
