Heartwarming Story Involving a Much-Maligned Multinational

Much as we really don't care for the type of company Starbucks has become over the past decade, you can't help but acknowledge and celebrate what they're doing with the Union Project up in Highland Park.

If more multinationals and foodservice chains contributed to worthwhile local community projects, a lot more positive things could happen around Pittsburgh.

Anyway, good job Starbucks and best of luck to the folks at the Urban Fusion Cafe.

    George's Coffee Connection was specialty coffee in New England for years. Then he sold out to the dark empire. Now he's back with Terroir, identifying and promoting single source coffees. No stores yet, only whole bean sales.
