Bernardo Gives Us a Thumbs Up

If you're here and you see a wiry Brazilian drinking from a demitasse with one hand holding a cell phone and the other gesturing to whomever is on the other end of the call, that's Bernardo Katz.

We've become his "away" office for a hour or so a day.  He's pronounced our Black Cat espresso "very good" and as he's become quite the connosieur in his world travels, we'll gladly take the compliment.

Bernardo, owns a number of commercial buildings here in Mt. Lebo, in Beechview, and also manages properties dahntahn.  Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Bernardo is a perfect example of the energy that immigrants can still deliver to this area.  If only Pittsburgh attracted more of them.
